The charitable purpose of the Trust is registered as meaning every and all exclusively charitable purposes,

whether they relate to the relief of poverty, the advancement of education or religion, or any other matter

beneficial to the community, as defined in section 5 of the Charities Act 2005; and any purpose which is not

exclusively charitable is specifically excluded.

Donations to the Trust are welcome and may be made to the trustees at the address shown below.

Donations are tax deductable and a receipt will be provided for this purpose on request.

The Trust, as part of its fund-raising activities, runs two wedding shows every year at the Horticultural

Hall, South Hagley Park, one in Spring (September each year) and one in Summer (March each year).

The door takings of the shows are donated, together with any additional funds which the Trust may

contribute, to two registered charities in accordance with the Trust Deed. Currently these two charities are:

Child Helpline, and

Cancer Society of New Zealand.
